I would like to reflect on a quote that I read the other day about depression. It said “Depression is when you have lots of love, but no one’s taking.” However, I feel that depression does not come about your inability to find someone to accept your love but your inability to love yourself first. Thus, even though you may think that no one wants to accept your love it is not because they do not like you. If, for example, you looked like you are starving to death but wanted to give away food that you seem to need for yourself, who would want to take it?
