A Pet for the Blues


During depression it is not uncommon for you to feel like you just want to be left alone. However, deep inside you may just not feel capable of dealing with people at the level that you would like to. When that happens, it is still a good idea to try to spend some quality time with someone. If you are not up to spending time with a person, you can try spending quality time with a pet.

Pets are good because they like you unconditionally and they don’t care whether you deal with them with the same level of energy every time. They even show interest in spending quiet time with you. You can even talk to them and they appear to show interest in what you have to say. They can help you achieve the sense of peace and satisfaction that you may need to get through another day.
